  • Do you experience Anxiety attacks or Panic attacks when leaving your home?
  • Do you ache to attend you child's dance recitals, soccer games, or to just go shopping but find you can't because of the panic?
  • Are you sick and tired of feeling like a prisoner in your own home?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, you may have what is known as Panic Disorder With or Without Agoraphobia. Panic attacks can be debillitating, but they are not fatal. They can keep you from enjoying life like you used to, and they can be overcome! THERE IS HOPE!

I am a Licensed Psychotherapist specializing in Counseling for Panic Attacks and Treatment of Agoraphobia. Over the last 20 years I have studied and utilized relaxation techniques and guided imagery. I have given workshops on relaxation and "directed daydreams", and helped others learn the techniques to reduce anxiety and achieve a calm state of being. And I make House Calls!

If you are ready to reduce Anxiety, eliminate Panic, and get out of the house and enjoy life like you used to, call me today! Together we can take Panic out of going out in public!

Symptoms of Panic Attacks:
Racing heartbeat     terror that is almost paralyzing     hot flashes or chills     sweating, shaking, choking,     chest pains or discomfort
dizziness or nausea     feelings of being unreal     shortness of breath     feeling like you are going crazy or are going to die

Tips for Coping with Panic and Anxiety:

1.  BREATHE! Start with a deep breath while saying the word "relax."

2.  Remember that even though the symptoms of panic attacks are very frightening and uncomfortable, they are NOT fatal. No one
has ever died from a Panic Attack.

3.  Feel the fear and face it anyway. Running away, or giving in to the feelings only intensify them and give them power over you.

4. Give the fear/panic "monster" a name and face him/her/it when it rears its ugly head! It will soon understand that it has no power over you and will fade away.
